Hello I’m about to get one of these beauties and it will be my most expensive knife purchase yet, it will be a collection piece. I’d like to get any feedback on it as it costs about $600 USD in my country! Thank you.

Yeah I mean it’s just gonna sit in a safe and get taken out every month to look at but they look beautiful! Can't help, but eagerly awaiting feedback. For absolutely no practical reason I really want one...lol.

I was thinking the same thing by looking at that taper but getting it explained to you by the makers would be assuring, my friend overseas owns one and he said the point is very sturdy despite the somewhat fragile appearance, that’s awesome you met Curtis and Mark!I was thinking that the point might be a weak point, but talked to Curtis and Mark at the SHOT Show in 2017, and they showed me how they had left plenty of metal on the point for strength. As Bill said above, a very capable combat weapon. John
Oh man these pics are beautiful I was actually deciding between the V-14 or the Difensa, is that a Horkos second from the top in the first picture? And any reports on how the steel holds up for general use? Thank you.I'd love to get one and would if daggers weren't illegal where I live. I'm not a collector so to justify the purchase I'd need to be able to carry the thing. I can tell you that spartan blades are top notch. I have, and have had quite a few.

Yeah I believe it’s based on the Devils Brigade V-42? It would be very combat capable, the only other daggers I own are nice but I dislike the handles (CS Tai Pan and Blackhawk Uk-Sfk)For what it is, I believe it is one of the best daggers available on the market. It has a historical design but it is made from some of the best modern materials. Also while most of them are sold as collectibles, it really is a combat worthy dagger capable of stabbing and slashing as one would want in a fight.
I’m ordering mine today it will be my last knife purchase for a while but I think it will be worth it and I think my next purchase will also be from Spartan just by looking at the designs such as the Horkos and Difensa they look amazing.I love daggers and the Spartan/Les George is a beauty. Spartan are producing some wonderful knives, I have one and you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!![]()
That Pallas looks great I’ve always wanted a folder with a titanium frame, sounds like you have a great collection, I need an Emerson they are just so expensive in Australia!I don't have one of their fixed blades but the steel on my Pallas holds up great for EDC tasks. It might be my bias towards this knife talking, but I think the S35VN on my Pallas holds an edge better than on my other S35VN knives (ZT0909, Emerson Sheepdog, and Steel Will Apostate).
I really like the V-14 dagger too, but it would end up being more of a display piece if I got one. The Difensa is also on my list and it definitely looks like a great user.

Yes that is a Horkos. In a weak moment I sold that one. Wish I hadn't but I had so many knives in that size range.Oh man these pics are beautiful I was actually deciding between the V-14 or the Difensa, is that a Horkos second from the top in the first picture? I am purchasing a high end folder this year too the boss (my wife) doesn’t understand blade collecting but I can get a couple a year and the only folder I have is a Spyderco Endura and it’s great but I’ve been looking at Emerson’s and Benchmades and bastinelli and have a descion to make there, but I keep eyeing the Pallas! The Pallas is actually Spartan's only folder without a titanium frame. It's an aluminum handle with a button lock. Either way it's lightweight and comfortable.
I have a small collection but I do like to think it's great. Emersons are expensive here too, that's why I only have one. You might be able to get a good deal on the forums though
Thanks I’ll check it out, that sucks about your Horkos I think we all have sold a knife and regretted it at some point .Yes that is a Horkos. In a weak moment I sold that one. Wish I hadn't but I had so many knives in that size range.
Spartan has their HT and cryo dialed in. Check this review from mistwalker: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads...-difensa-and-the-phrike-very-pic-hvy.1187294/
Mine was a Christmas gift from my girlfriend (she let me pick it out though) so I haven't had it long, but i have not been gentle with it. You would be very happy with the Pallas I'm sure.I am purchasing a high end folder this year too the boss (my wife) doesn’t understand blade collecting but I can get a couple a year and the only folder I have is a Spyderco Endura and it’s great but I’ve been looking at Emerson’s and Benchmades and bastinelli and have a descion to make there, but I keep eyeing the Pallas!
