just wanted to know if any of you own an use a svord blade, what do you think of them..pics would be awsome...aloha

I had one (got stolen) and I have seen them, they are ok, not finished to a super high standard, more users than collectors.
Semi custom as opposed to pure custom.
Good solid knives, designed for working, can't go wrong with them but not super lookers or anything like that.

The blade on mine is carbon steel, hardened pretty soft so it sharpens pretty easy. It's not a very high polish, so it will rust fairly easy. Just keep it wiped down & lubed. The grinds came good. Not hair shaving or anything, but easy to get there as it's fairly thin.

The non locking blade isn't me favorite. Mostly due to it's lack of comfort than anything else. I'd hate to have to do a lot of hard cutting with it without a better grip arrangement. Good price, and good steel, easy to sharpen. That about sums it up.

I was a bit disappointed in edge retention, otherwise the simplicity of the friction folder has some interenting aspects.
