Anyone owns a Spyderco 215 Euro Edge?

Ok, I'll bite. I own a EuroEdge.

What do you want to know about it, other than what Spyderco has already said about it?🤔

"A proud member of Spyderco’s Ethnic Series™ of knives, the EuroEdge was designed by talented custom knifemaker Ed Schempp. Its remarkable design was inspired by Schempp’s hands-on research in some of Europe’s finest museums and his appreciation of the role that fullers—longitudinal blade grooves—had in the evolution of European knives and swords.

The EuroEdge’s dramatic, near-symmetrical blade is precision machined from CPM® S30V® particle metallurgy stainless steel and features several fullers to reduce its weight and strengthen it. The bead-blasted fullers stand in contrast to the blade’s beautifully executed satin finish to further highlight their presence. The blade’s single cutting edge is balanced by a long swedge (unsharpened bevel) and Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole™ for quick, positive, one-handed opening.

Not to be outdone, the blade is paired with an equally stunning handle featuring polished, 3-D-machined G-10 scales that also feature longitudinal fullers. The handle’s full stainless steel liners provide impressive structural strength and form the foundation of the knife’s stout LinerLock mechanism. Its shape is reminiscent of the style of classic Swiss daggers, bracketing the hand at each end for a secure grip while offering a generous palm swell in the center. A pocket clip configured for right-side, tip-up carry completes the design, ensuring both ease of carry and immediate access.

An incredible fusion of rich, cultural history and modern manufacturing excellence, the EuroEdge is a highly functional cutting tool that pays homage to Europe’s ethnic knives with breathtaking fit and finish."

I have one. It’s a cool design and would likely excel at certain tasks. But for me, it would be too bulky to carry comfortably in a front pocket.

I have one. cool knife. I dont really use it or carry it much. ive kept it due to i just like it.

I want one. If they were rereleased at a somewhat affordable price I might succumb.

My guess is that the chance of a re-release of the EuroEdge is next to nil but, if it happened, the cost would be very high.

So, if you want one, your best bet would be to buy one on the 2ndary market but they rarely come up for sale.

Don't recall seeing one come up for sale here on The Exchange or on EB in years and only one has sold on ACK annually over the past few years.

So, it would be "catch as catch can" but, if you can find one, it "should" cost you about $500 to buy one based on the last sale on ACK in Sep 2025, which would be a very reasonable price if you could get one for that.

I doubt that Sal could re-create the knife for that price.

The Euroedge is one of those knives that I've always kinda wanted, but I've never actually seen one, even when they were in production. Knowing the size difference between my hands and Ed's, I wasn't about to buy one without having one in hand first. From what I've seen, it's also one of the models with more fakes than real examples out there.

There are lots of fakes, but they aren’t “good fakes” like some of the other models that are duplicated. Most of the fake Euro Edge knives I’ve seen aren’t highly polished G10 like the real version. The G10 I’ve seen on the fake Euro Edge is more matte.

Wow $500 used is a no go for me. But it would be interesting to see how a stripped down version would sell. Same size but put some thinner, non milled, flat peel ply G10 scales, maybe no fullers on the blade. Maybe Spyderco can make an in house design to keep price down? I'm assuming putting a custom knifemaker's name on the blade only adds to the cost?

So, you just want a cheap copy? Plenty of those out there.

If you're referring to the Chinese clone hot garbage out there, then definitely no, but I'd buy an affordable version of the euroedge made by Spyderco with their quality control and standards. It'd be nice if Spyderco had at least one spear point folder in their current catalog. Unless there's one I'm not aware of?
