anyone pick up a DDR HTM gunhammer yet?

More research ppl...do it.

It's not tip down only. You can see on the radian recurve model.

I was talking about the 1st model in 3-D G-10, not the new/current one. I imagine it's a very good knife & F&F should be excellent, as is expected of a DDR knife, whether it be one of his customs or a mid-tech model.

For reference, I've had one of his customs & the mid-tech model.

What blade grind did you get? I dunno why he went to alu scales. G10 just wears that much better.

It's all on the website...handle material is hard anodized aluminum. Bowie you probably have to get from DDR directly as no vendors seem to have them in stock.

what knife would it compare to in size? is it alot smaller than a Zt 301??

Physically, it isnt that much shorter or wider than the 300, but when in-hand it feels like a much smaller knife. This is mostly because of the much taller handle that the ZT has.

it isnt that hard to flip the older tip down ones to tip up
just modify the clip to have one screw hole and use the farthest screw
for the scale and a longer torx screw and your good as gold

I stopped by Darrel's today and saw the HTM Gunhammer with the Torpedo blade. It looks real fine. Sorry I did not get a picture, but was without my camera.
