Anyone piggyback a folder on their Becker...?

Other than including one with a sheath-mounted PSK, I'm curious if anyone has a folder riding piggyback on their Becker...

I just received a Case American Workman Sod Buster and, man, the thing is freakin' huge! Must've been drinkin' & shop-lookin' again... Now I'm trying to think of how to put it to good use, and was considering mounting it to my BK-2 sheath...

Dumb idea? :o Opinions please!

Seems like a good idea. Been contemplating and researching a folder with a bail or lanyard hole to take with me when I'm out; something to complement the medium or big Becker. I was figuring a bail/lanyard attached to the belt and kept in a pants pocket, but a sheath pocket might work too. If I can get out of this damn city any time soon I can give it a try...

Good knife! I EDC a Case Sodbuster, it's large (long) sure...but it's pretty lightweight and it's slim. I just carry it in my watchpocket of my jeans.

Now the Sodbuster and Buck 110 are same length...but the 110 is way to heavy/bulky for pocket-carry IMO...it stays in it's belt sheath.

never thought about piggybacking any knife really, dont see the point of it, "all the eggs in one basket' and whatnot

ps- what color didja get? I have the yella one. Love that color, looks even better with age. Got about 13 years on mine now.

I just added a photo... no bloody way it's gonna fit in a watchpocket! :D The (dark/midnight) blue is quite fetching, imo...

I agree about not keeping all the eggs in one basket. I'm bound to have another folder/SAK somewhere else and likely my Izula 2 as well... :)

I have a Victorinox SwissTool in the front pouch of my fieldmaster sheath, but will probably replace it with a one of those new Leatherman OHTs.

Sure do like the yella, Thrillbilly! I'll probably end up getting a smaller Soddie in yella...

I do like that blue. Maybe I need a "backup'' in case (teehee PUN!) I ever lose my yella one, god forbid.

It bloody well DOES fit in watchpocket. I wear levis and wranglers, cowboy cut. It sticks out some but I like that so I can reach it without digging in my pocket.

I like your enthusiasm, fella! :D

P.S. wish I could afford fancy britches like you, brother! I spend all my money on knives so all I have is China-pants! :p

Ya need better pants Bro. LOL

hell those r wranglers, in my levis the knife is almost completely covered.

Anyway, this is Blade Forums, not Pants Forums... back on point... :o

I've also considered a full SE folder, maybe something in H1, or a multi-tool for piggyback. The one-hander SAKs might be an idea, too

I reckon it doesn't really matter what is piggybacked on my BK-2... the shee... er... ladies are only interested in seeing my Becker anyway... ;)

lol id piggy back a remora but not a folder. and it depends on the situation, if i was not on a boat sure, as the gentelman above stated all the eggs in one basket. if i was just roughing it in a bush sure id piggy back, but not a folder and only a SMALL fixed blade,

I'm thinking the yellow one is a sodbuster JR and the blue is the full size one. I've got a yellow jr in Cv steel and love it. That should explain the size difference. Never piggy backed it though. It has always rode in the pocket of my jeans.

to quote Mr. Cash ''Negatory on the last there Red Rider''

that is a Sodbuster. not a junior, dont care for the size of the juniors, I only carry fullsize folders.

and if u were going by the size comparison with the paracord bracelet in my pic...that aint a bracelet that's a hatband LOL
