Anyone Pre-order the ZT Hinderer 0566?

I was all over it as soon as I saw it. Never owned any thing related to Hinderer and always wanted a ZT so this is my first go at either one. Just wish I knew when it is expected to be shipped because now I come home looking for a box every day even though I know it's not anywhere near shipping. :D
 
Preordered mine too. I think the 0560 came out around August last year I think. I've heard 3rd quarter. So I'm just hoping for late 3rd early 4th quarter. :)
 
Since it is a regular production, I did not. I know there are those who are absolutely stoked about it and did preorder. Dont get me wrong, my excitement level for it is pretty high, but I wont be first in line to get one. Im thinking more along the lines of Kershawguy, December.

Same here. I believe the 0566 is going to be a very sweet knife, and even though I would love to have it in my hands this instant, I think I'm going to have to hold off on the pre-order for this knife. I have all the other Hinderer collabs in the ZT line, and this is definitely going to be a "must have" for this years releases. :cool:
 
I did. I think the 560 is a little big to carry, even though I have large hands, and this one looks to be just right. I also heard third quarter on the BladeShow video and September is my birthday so it would be a nice surprise.

Yeah, understandable. For me it's my first ZT and Hinderer designed knife so it put a little extra pep in my step for this knife. I never preorder any knives but this one just looked like an awesome knife at a great price point.

Yeah, the 560 seemed a little big for my taste for EDC but the 566 is just about right from what I can tell.

Damn. 3rd quarter? Hopefully they ship quick.
 
Yes, I pre-ordered. Love the 0560, so figured a little smaller version would be cool too, but now I want an 0777. :rolleyes:

0777 is pretty badass looking knife but out of my price range. At this point $300 my absolute max for a knife and it will be a one time thing.

I have told myself the same thing every time I have bought a knife over $300. It is never a one time thing...
 
Been toying with the idea of pre-ordering. Haven't made up my mind yet. Regardless, I will probably end up getting one whether I pre-order it or just buy one once they are out. Cool knife... great size.
 
Pre-ordered several myself, the 560 is just to big for EDC. 566 should be the last knife in my pocket for awhile.
 
Pre-ordered. I too recently returned a 560 due to size. This looks to be a perfect balance for edc.

That's what I'm thinking as well, though the 350 will probably get some pocket time as well. Given I have about 9 months to weight for the 566, the 350 will get borken in.

I said that one time as well, but yeah, I am choking on going over what I spent for the 0560's.

Looking forward to the 0566. I think it will compare well with the Spyderco Southard which is a heck of a little knife.
