Hi everyone,
Just got a khukari and I would really like it if there was some jimping behind the round hole. I am not a professional at things like this and i know I would screw it up..
Has anyone done this or do you guys know anywhere that will do after market jimping for me?

Thanks to all who reply! :)

A dremel tool with a two cutting wheels separated by a spacer will put decent jimping on a knife. I have done about 10 of my knives myself. Not as pretty as factory, but it works well.

I did it to a knife with a dremel also, a CRKT M21, but I wouldn't trust myself to not screw the heat treat up on a Spyderco. It also doesn't look particularly good, but it is very effective/functional.

A cheap dremel to my old Endura Gen. 3. I put the jimping where the spine "slopes" down atop the hole and out in front for when you extend your index to do finer or skinning cuts.

Won't win any prizes but it made it mine. It's now with my dad.

As firefox said, Dremel.
You can do it handheld fast. I mount mine on my Micromill to get steady results. See the handle spine of the Sage.

Great idea! I've done 'em with one wheel so I can definitely see the advantages of two:thumbup::thumbup:. I also clean it up a bit with a jewelers file

I have a dodo that someone polished the spine and added some jimping on the thumb ramp.
