Anyone receive an order from HandAmerican lately?

I have been waiting several weeks for my order from HA and my [polite] emails have not been answered. I am curious if any one else has experienced this.

To be fair there website stated that they were closed during the holidays but it seems to me there backlog ought to be cleared up by now.

Knowing my luck now that I have posted this my order will arrive tomorrow. :o By the way, my credit card has not been charged yet which is a good thing.....I think. :D

I got an order at the end of 06, was about a month late. I actually thought they had lost it, but it arrived; and with twice as many belts as I had ordered, free of extra charge for the delay.

I placed an order about a month ago and haven't received it. I haven't bothered e-mailing them because it wasn't something I needed right away. This was my first time ordering from them so I'm curious as to how everything will work out.
 
Same story here, the order was a bit late but extra goodies were in the box. The products are good and worth waiting for IMHO.
 
Torz and pope,, thanks for the feedback. I do not doubt my order will show up sooner or later since HA has a pretty good rep. Like pope, I can get by for awhile without the things I ordered.

My order finally arrived from Hand American. One month to the day of placing the order. :rolleyes: One item [the one that I *really* needed] was not in the package. The invoice said it was discontinued yet it is still listed for sale on there products page. The fact that the product is discontinued does not bother me. These things happen. What does bother me is the lack of communication. If they had responded to my multiple [polite] inquiries I would of known the product was not available and I could of cancelled my order then gotten all the items from another vendor such as Lee Valley, TKS, or Jantz. Now I have to order one stinking thing from another company and pay another shipping charge. :grumpy:

By the way, unlike Torz and hardheart there was nothing extra in the package. Not that I expected anything for free but even a bonus paperclip or some pocket lint would of been apreciated after a full month of waiting.

I am sorry for the rant. Next time I will cool off before posting. ;)

P.S. Maybe we can convince Michael at New Graham to start carrying the sort of things that HA sells. That way we would know what is in stock and the service will be outstanding. :D :thumbup:
 
That is very disappointing. I was peeved until I saw that they threw in something extra for the extended wait, that really does help alleviate the aggravation. They don't seem to be the best at e-tailing, hopefully they get their site cleaned up as far as what's still available and what isn't. I too really hate to pay shipping for a single item, causes me to hunt a long time, trying to find a vendor who carries all that I want at the moment.

I received mine yesterday. It was a bit slow coming, but like a couple of other folks, I got an extra item. It was something I originally had in my "shopping cart," but deleted before placing the order. I didn't order a lot of stuff but everything I got was superb quality. The quality will have me going back for more.
