• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Anyone recognize this mark?

aumckids: Only the first images shows. Something posted wrong?

Looks like Chris Meyer's engraving. He's from NJ. He's not an internet presence, but his style is recognizable.

Jot is a VERY warm and charismatic maker. He's a longtime knifemaking veteran, and currently works producing ceremonial swords for the very peaceful Sikh community.

Nice folder. Where did you acquire this?

Coop

Thanks, Coop. Had a nice correspondence with Jot this evening. My late uncle purchased this knife from him in 2005. It's a natural Alaskan jade handled liner lock with jade accents and a twist pattern nickel damascus steel blade. Yes, you are correct, the engraving and gold inlay was done by Chris Meyer.

Not sure what happened to the second. Here it is again.

It's the way you are linking.

You can't do a direct link on BFC, it has to be through a proxy server like (tiny pic, which is what I use or imageshack, which I used to use)

Best Regards,

Steve, thanks for the advice. I'm not linking the image, but uploading it. What I click on the "Attachment" link above, it opens the picture.

I'm going to try linking it with tiny pic. Again, thanks! Third times a charm...

John

That is a nice one!

I think Jot styles these as folding Kirpans, a style of knife carried by all Sikh Indians....at any rate, it is a sweet design.
