Very frigin cool! And I thought Busse/SRKW didn't do double grinds...
Help me out here (I'm a little new to this whole e-bay thing), but why would someone place a bid above themselves, or is that from a set number you put in earlier and when someone bids above you, it automaitically bids for you in the predetermined increments?????? I've seen that on a couple items in the past too.

Here's the way it looks to me...
Person A has the current bid of $50, but put in a max bid of $40 million dollars. Person B can only see that Person A bid $50, so they put in a bid for $55, and does not get the high bid. Then tries $56, again unsuccessfully. This can go on for quite a while, until Person B finally jumps up and bids above the $40 million dollar max bid.
That is my best guess.

I had a person from eBay email me and ask me if I was sure the dagger was real, anyone else that has bid on it received the same question? Does anyone think it is not real? I would have thought Jerry would have said something in his post if it was in doubt.
