Anyone recommend a big, serrated folder?

My understanding is that VG-1 is a decent steel, but not as good as the VG-10 used by Spyderco. I have no experience with VG-1, but VG-10 is great stuff. IMO it's the best of the stainless steels that still have good corrosion resistance.

(S30V cuts better, but rusts more easily.)

Actually 440C has much better corrosion resistance than VG10. I am a big fan of the mid grade stainless like 440C ,aus 8 and especially VG10.

I usually much prefer plain edge knives but recently I have been carrying my fully serrated stainless Police. I call her the chainsaw and like Yobbos1 said it is one of the most sheeple unfriendly folders their is. With the stainless handles it is also a huge knife in a very very concealable package. Because it is so slim it does not print under clothes.
It also makes it much more comfy to carry. The stainless is my favourite handle for the Police model because it looks so innocent clipped to the pocket.

Everyone needs at least one big dramatic looking fully serrated Spyderco.

I would love a carbonfibre Massood as well.

I have the fully serrated Spyderco Endura that is not a bad knife. It is very pointy. Sharp too.

The Spyderco ATR is definitley one of the more 'intense' SE folders out there.
