Anyone seen the new Gerber Bear Grylls PE Paracord Fixed Blade?

I wouldn't want anything with Bear Grylls' name on it. I've got nothing against him personally; it's simply unappealing to me to have a celebrity's name on anything I own.

I just picked one up at Walmart (29.99). I really like the design of the knife, blade length, and the way it feels in hand. Kinda what I have been looking for, but made with cheap steel. At least theres no serrations.

...honestly, if I'm going to pay for a knife I'd rather my money went in to design, manufacturing, materials and quality control rather than paying someone for their signature.

It's better than the cheesy BG you see at walmart, but not anything I'd want.

The only thing worse than a Gerber is a Gerber endorsed by a pseudo-celebrity. I wouldn't buy it.

does anyone have the bear grylls paracord knife and a becker bk14? (bk11 would work too) ive held the BG and liked the grip design but would prefer another becker to a BG. Im trying to see how the two size up to eachother.
