Anyone seen this thing?

their ninjatude is quite fierce.

reminds me of the guy that does the old nfl films.

"the greatest game that ever was....."

I am most interested in what the steel is like when combined with Titanium. Also, I checked out their tactical folder and its blade material is something called "PM Elmax Superclean stainless" which I guess is like a European version of S30V but with smaller carbides and slightly different formula. From what they claim, it is less prone to chipping than S30V and I read that it might be because of the smaller carbides. Cool knives! They look really easy to sharpen. Looks like they would be great in the field for someone who doesn't want to spend time and effort sharpening. Thanks for the link.

What's funny about it?
If you find out what the price is, you won't think that's funny ...

Their knives are different. They tried for new ideas and reliable materials. Give it a chance, lets see if anyone can afford them and lets us know how they perform.

The video is a lot better than the Cold Steel equivalent.

The hollowflat edge may be doing it the hard way. You can get the same easy-to-find sharpening angle in a Scandinavian grind.

the product looks decent. what i find amusing is the presentation.

It's marketing. You have to hold your audience's attention. He did show a lot about the design.

The one time I winced was when he fired that first shot and it ricocheted off something. Not smart.

The handle design seems extremely well executed with great utility value. Despite the somewhat cheesy presentation, I am interested in at least handling their product.

I winced way before that, at the very beginning clip reel where he pulls on a rope with all his weight and the knife is in his hand pointed right at his gut...

Well, the anorexic chick and the "explosion bonding" followed by the 80s style voice over was just a little over the top. I'm sure the knife is a nice piece.

The chick needs some serious pounds put on for sure. Not much into the advertising thing of especially shooting the rifle at the end. Pretty close to whatever he shot and I would worry about a ricochet. Anyways not my kind of knife and the prices are very very steep. keepem sharp

Actually, I liked the clip because it talked about design/material issues, and several interesting issues were raised. It's pretty common for makers to ignore the sheath. The handle was interesting too. Being able to hold on to the knife while doing other things would be an advantage in some circumstances.

I wonder, though, if explosively bonding Ti to the S30V adds all that much, other than a lot of cost. The owners didn't talk about that. Maybe it keeps the weight down, but it would do so by only a small amount in that kind of skeleton frame. S30V seems tough enough to not need lamination.

I thought it was kind of amusing. The explosion was gratuitous, and I giggled a bit about the idea to use a triangle to emphasize "four points". The gunplay seemed both gratuitous and pretty reckless considering the gas tanks in the background. The voiceover sounded pretty amateur-ish, too.

These are minor quibbles, however. I suspect it'll go over well enough to their target customers.

I wonder how comfortable those knives are in the hand.

That looks like an easy enough of a design to approximately copy from flat steel. If I ever decide to start making knives I'll probably give it a try.

Hang on, you're trying to tell me I CAN'T use my ka-bar to pierce a tyre or lift an engine with soapy hands???

Lousy knife, wish I'd never even bought it:jerkit:.
