Anyone treating some 1080 soon (My first blade is ready to HT)

Was wondering if anyone was going to be treating any 1080 soon. I finished my first blade out of the steel that Stan graciously sent me and I'm beside myself to finish it entirely. Learned a lot for the next one for sure.

Can you provide some basic specs for the blade (e.g. length, style and intended use)? As I bet you already know, 1080 is about as straightforward as you can get on the HT. If it's not an unusually large blade, have you considered gearing up with some basics in order to give it a shot on your own? Satisfaction comes in several flavors ...

If not, I or any one of a big number of our compadres here will get you covered.

Andy is correct, as far as H/T'ing goes 1080 is fairly simple. But if you want someone to do it for you I'll do it for free since its your first blade. All you have to pay is return shipping. Let me know what you decide and welcome to the addiction we call knifemaking.
