Anyone treid the Katadyn Purification tabs?

I thought about getting some, and wondered if anyone has tried them and can maybe give some review.

I read some bits about them. They don't kill or deactivate one of the somewhat common bad guys. Seems it was Cryptosporidium? I don't rememeber which one exactly. This problem was described as true of all the chlorine methods.

Hi Guy!
I use them a lot! I use the one called "micropur forte". It work fine but have a strange taste! I have a MSR miniwork water filter and combine the micropur with the filter.
I've used it in Nepal, French guyana, Brezil, Rwanda, Congo, and Ethiopia with great succes!
