Anyone tried naked RATs as a flint striker?

After seeing the vid mentioned here in the W&SS section, I tried with my Opinel and a flint, and I got sparks.

Now I wonder, has someone tried that with a stripped RAT?
(my Izula still has it's coating, so I can't try)

A mates done it, it needed a bit of work on the back edge but it worked fine

I thought about doing it but always carry a SAK so didn't see the point
 
might have misunderstood - I was thinking firesteel rather than a piece of flint sorry
 
might have been clearer, had I mentioned "flint" in the headline ...
sorry, can't edit that ...

but shotgunner can, and so he did, thanks a lot!
