anyone tried nortons best value ceramic belts?

do you think they were at least better than the zirconia that HF sells?

keep in mind this is for a 1x30. I am ordering some blaze and gators and figured Id try a couple best value just dont wanna waste my money if Im not gonna end up using them.

I'm just joking ( mostly) but isn't putting a Blaze belt on a 1X30 grinder the equivalent of putting off road tires on a Yugo.

I haven't used those, but generally speaking, "economy" tools and materials - especially abrasives and files and other stuff that cuts - are meant for folks who might use them for 30 seconds a couple times a month. Use once or twice, wear out, throw away. Blaze and Gator belts are both very good and worth the extra money.

I would rather have a half-vast grinder or drill press and excellent belts or bits, than the other way around

I got some free samples in 36 they were OK not enough price difference to choose them over the good stuff.
