I need to evenly cover an area, and thought about mixing acetone with CA glue and spraying with a fine pump spray. I don't know what ratio to mix though, or whether the CA aspect of the mix will clog the atomizer's tube after only one use.
Any thoughts? I'd love to hear how you guys spread CA glue over large areas evenly.
For full disclosure: I'm actually needing to do this with small plastic toys that I make. CA glue makes a good scratch resistant shield for the custom paint job. But getting it on and into the intricate details is a pain. But the answer will be relevant to me for when I put wood scales on some of my knives, as well as when I make little boxes out of some of the woods I have as gifts.
