I was thinking it along the lines of putting 4 donut tire rims on my Cadillac CTS

There is a lot of room to angle the clip on a real PM2. The pictures is mainly showing the smooth transition on the genuine PM2 vs the sharp one on the counterfeit.
I think it's a bad idea to support counterfeiters or thieves at all. Also, I recall reading that they don't fit.
I think by buying a fake you are supporting theft and hurting the industry.
Own a few of this offering. I respectfully and wholeheartedly disagree with the bolded assertion.
On both of the PM2s that I own I can change the position of the end of the clip is by about 1/2" I would consider that a lot when the handle is slightly over 1" wide.
Not sure how you're able to accomplish a half an inch of play on a clip that is attached with 3 screws, I guess I must be doing something wrong.
Here is a pic of the first four I had handy; all have been carried fairly extensively. Don't own a micrometer to accurately measure, but these seem quite...the same.
Some Para 2 scales available from China
I'll have to try some on my counterfeits.
The usual suspects have my permission to bleat away all you want about buying fakes.
I'll spend my money where I want, feel free to do the same.
