Anyone use BudK or TrueSwords?

Dont buy from BK* with the intent of using the knife or sword. If you try to chop off a branch or the like, you are liable to break the blade and might hurt yourself.
You've made a slew of sword related posts recently. Just my opinion but save your money and buy a better quality sword. Its your health at stake after all.

*Dont know the other company. If ifs anything like BK, see above.

Oh the sword latest sword is from a forge not budk and trueswords is also budk just another website. the other 2 i have are musha brand which i did buy off budk but the exception is musha is know for decent quality blades. I have bought a few small swords and daggers and knives from budk aswell and they are all pretty junky tbh. most of the time i agree to never buy swords from budk unless you know the brand who makes it. I have around 500$ and im thinking of buying a custom sword for that price with a real hamon.

BudK = Trueswords = Kennesaw Cutlery. All the same company used for marketing tactics

You should contact some of the sword makers here on the forum. Its doesnt have to be super expensive and as mentioned, its better to spend a tad more on a quality sword.

i definetly will at some point :) thanks! hey i have a old knife i need some help pricing with would u be able to help?

If you have 500$ to spend on a sword, I would look elsewhere besides budk/trueswords. A custom sounds cool if that's what you want or I would recommend a cold steel as well as they have high and positive reviews.

thanks for the comment man :) ya i would never spend 500 at budk XD i only spend up to like 50 there. cold steel is cool but the styles are kinda odd looking imo

you meant by me asking about pricing correct? want to make sure im not breaking any of them
Yes, pricing. But if you read all of the rules you will be able to avoid breaking any of them. Much better than getting advice from me. :)

Cold steel is ridiculous but high quality. BudK is ridiculous but low quality.

Wall hangers only. Cold steel can be beat on.

What about the cold steel warrior series? Those are pretty functional, I honestly do not know much about swords, but I seen a bunch of video reviews on them when I was going to buy a sword and they seem pretty good

Then again, dont go cutting trees or branches with actual swords meant for combat. These will break, too. Swords are for cutting flesh, not wood. Even battle axes are poor woodcutters.

And I'm not including CS swords in this category. They are generally a pound or more over their historical inspirations to facilitate abuse. They resemble historical swords only visually and handle nothing like them.

Zieg

I agree, I hate seeing people use swords to hack branches or wood
