Anyone use the Spyderco Delica 4

IMHO, the Delica is one of the best 3" folders out there. It might not be a looker (at least it doesn't appeal to my particular aesthetic taste), but it's a fantastic design with really good materials.

I rarely buy duplicates of any knife, but I somehow ended up with three Delica variations (a regular Delica 4, a G-10 flat ground Delica 4 and one of the newer FRN handled flat ground Delicas). I use all three of them often, they are just lovely. Light, sharp and the price tag isn't bad either.

The flat ground models are excelent slicers, but the tip might be a bit fragile depending on your knife needs. The regular sabre ground Delica 4 is a bit stouter, and although the grind is thicker it still performs quite well since the blade stock is relatively thin.

I don't agree with those that consider the Delica to be exactly like the Endura but smaller. It's quite different and it might be attractive to people who don't like Enduras very much. I'm not a huge fan of the sabre ground Endura 4 (I like the flat ground ones, but still prefer the handle on the Endura 3), yet I LOVE my Delicas.
