Anyone "use" their LE's?

Straight forwared question... I mentioned in another thread that I have two BATACs, one being an LE. I"m not one to put a lot of importance in "resale" value, I didn't by the damned thing for anyone else but me, now and in the future.

That said, the blade and handle fit is a thing of beauty, I really enjoy the heft and balance, but I can't see using it for constructing a shelter or splitting kindling in the field, rough work, that sort of thing. I'm telling myself one thing and then another, quite the quandary... it's the reason I bought the combat grade model, so I'd have something I'm really not afraid of using, but it's not quite the same blade, being a little leaner.

Most of mine... use the BATAC LE you wont regret it.

i love all my busse's i now have a batac, a jackhammer, a MOFBM, a war boar, and a AD. i will be getting a FFFBM and plan to use it as i have used my batac jackhammer and ad. the MOFBM may get use and the war boar will probably see no use. unless someone comes in my house in the middle of the night and disarms me. to me they were an investment and could be resold though i plan to use them, i mean thats why they were made so well, to see use.

Well I've used one out of four, but I bought it already used. :foot:

I think when I can't afford to buy anymore new Busse's, I'll use them for sure. You have to admit, its pretty tough to take that first whack with a new LE.

I have 2 LE's, and use them both. I have a NMFBM, and an ASH in both CG and LE. I like using the LE versions better! I am trying to figure out why I like using the LE's better, but it hasn't fully come to me yet. They just seem to be more satisfying. On the NMFBM LE, I think that it is the extra heft of the thicker blade. And come to think of it my CG ASH is a skinny ASH. That may be part of it, but not all. I am still thinking about it. Maybe I like working with "naked" knives better. Who knows, but give it a try! You won't regret it, and will never go back.

Unless specifically collecting, I see no reason not to use them.

Use the LE... especially with the BATAC.
The BATAC LE feels sooooooooo much better in the hand than the CG to me anyway.

Yep, I use my LEs, though I don't get out to use 'em as often as I'd like. They chop better than CGs do.
