Anyone have any pics of their satin blades that are actually used? Hard?

What do you mean by hard?

all the time. Its just hard to tell cause the coating is all gone.:)

Very nice user pics  Satin INFI is easy on the eyes =) But we sure do love to see them scratched up! That means your putting our knives to the test.;)

I do not know if you would call it hard use but I have a satin/snakeskin Active Duty that has processed close to 60 deer.

I'm conflicted on this one. I don't mind the scratches on mine from use, but I hate unnecessary marks. Satin+kydex= blasphemy to me, but I can choose to get leathers made. If I didn't have that option (kydex is a bit cheaper and more rugged) I'd still be okay.

I'll take some pics of the finish on my KZII and NMFBM tomorrow when the light is good. I use them everyday almost and they're a little marked up, but fine. It seems like kydex scratches satin more than wood...

Kydex is softer than steel, so it can't scratch. But, if you get dirt or grit embedded in the surface of the kydex, that will scratch a blade.

On a user, those are beauty marks.
