I've had a E10 for a year (gift) and have opened, closed it and that's pretty much it. Well, i did cut paper a little.

How have you used yours?

I just got one for Christmas and haven't yet taken the time to sharpen it to my satisfaction. I fully intend to put it in the rotation along with the Damascus Mnandi.

I just picked up a E10-3 from the exchange. The knife was used regularly for a few years and is still as tight as a vault.

I plan on using this knife along with the E6 I have daily. They are super light and thin, perfect slicers. I hope WH continues the EDC line, I can't say enough about them.

I have a E6 I got as a wedding gift. I take it out and fondle it every once in awhile, but don't really have too much desire to use it, not to say I will never carry or use it in the future. Maybe very classy or special occasions. Very nice piece though.

fq55,
I see yours has been used a little, witness the black coating on the handle is worn a tiny bit. It still looks great.:)
What do you cut with it?

:DIt might make a great apple slicer.

I have used mine every day for 10 years (B-15 Titan). I put pocket clip on it. The laminate ZDP-189 blade has excellent edge retention. It weighs 55gm., has a button lock, and has hollow handles. I just wish that the 3 1/8" blade was a little longer.

I have a Gen Tac with Ironwood handles, and I've carried quite often. It rarely does any "hard" work, but it's taken it's fair share of use and wear. I just take some fine-grit paper to the handle, and/or blade, and it looks almost new again. Though they may look delicate, they are really made to be used.

I just have one: a B12 Atlas. Nice knife and I carry it semi-frequently. It's nice and thin, carries like a champ, and is an excellent little slicer. When I carry it, it does everything any of my other pocket knives would be expected to do. Which isn't much, honestly. Just the usual boring, mundane tasks encountered throughout the day: opening mail/packages, maybe slicing a bit of cardboard for the recycle bin, etc. I don't shy away from using it when needed, though. :)

I have been carrying this every day since I picked it up and its been through a few boxes a bagel. Its an excellent bagel cutter.

The E10 has really converted me on the button lock, it has a very distinctive "ping" when i flick it open. Here is is with my Mantra for some stropping on 2K paper.

I have 3 Kestrels, a Pikatti, a large and small EDC, a couple of friction locks, and a few others, the Ironwood Kestrel gets somewhat frequent use, enough that I've had to touch up the edge. I CAN say that, first and foremost, these are definitely cutting instruments, and they cut well. I love mine!

I have the Tom Brown Tracker version of IIRC the B-15 Titan. I've used it for everything, even kitchen prep. I've taken out the back of a chicken with it, no problems with the edge at all. I have "touched up" the edge a few times over the last couple of years, but it never really needed sharpening. Great knives...great company.
