Anyone used a GB splitting wedge?

Hello,

I just purchased a GB splitting maul(5lbs of wood bustin hell) and was wondering about the splitting wedge. Any feedback would be apprerciated

The wedge is very well made as you would expect from GB, and comes fairly sharp. It starts easily and is slightly twisted to maximize splitting. I like mine, but as a casual user, I'm not sure the cost is justified. I just enjoy using their products. They are first rate.

I agrre on using first rate tools, makes all the difference. Thanks for the response. I will probably sit back and wait to see if one com es available at a discounted price. I have several wedges now that will do untill I just can`t stand it anylonger
