I've always been intrigued by them, but have yet to pull the trigger on one? Does anyone have any extensive-use experience with them?

I've had two; I gave one away to a friend, and bought another to replace it. I let my wife use it once in the garden. She decided to use it to cut slits in some ground cloth by laying the cloth on the ground and using the ground underneath as a cutting board.

To say the least, she dulled it. Exceptionally well.

I brought it back to shaving sharpness on my belt sander, and put it into my bug out bag in my car.

The one I gave my friend I used while camping, and it saw a fair amount of food prep. It has a stainless blade, and the handle is very comfortable.

They are ugly knives but I like them. Very good knife for the money.

i havent used one but i always hear good things about the knife. i also hear alot of making fun of the hideous sheath.

Arguably, the best value for the money.

with the personality of a toaster.

I love mine, use it whenever I can. Gene

They are a great general purpose knife, equally at home in the kitchen or bush. My daughter carries one and loves it. Mac

Great little knives, more 'substantial' than the typical mora feels. Handle is much more comfy in my big mits (except the 510, which is perfect). The m2K slices like a demon. Definitely on my 'good list'.

I have one, but seldom use it. I like the grip, but wish the tip was not quite so wide. It's a good knife.

Its a good general purpose bush knife!

Right now my Mora 2000 and my Buck 102 are my favorite small knives.

And unlike other Mora sheaths the Mora 2000 sheath actually works and is quite functional.
Some more color choices for knife/sheath would be nice though.

it's perfectly campflaged in a bowl of pea soup...I liked mine but traded it off as it has a rater dramtic grind at the tip which I didn't like the mora 510 (as spooky said ) is hard to beat as far as handle comfor goes though the mora clipper is top on my list.

I have handed out a bunch of them to people who does not appreciate the quality in Fallkniven knives.
It is really sharp and a very popular knife with swedish hunters. Since it cost about 150-175 SEK it is considered expensive by sheeple locals. It is also issued to the Swedish military forces on international missions.

If I didnt have access to any Fallkniven knives, the Mora 2000 is the go to knife.
It is good enough to work as a backup survival knife, but still cheap enough to be used as a pry and destroy knife.

The sheath is really ugly, but it is developed to be used for hunting and gutting animals and as such it is great, although some people feel it is too big for gutting small animals.

Buy a bunch of the Mora 2K and throw them around. It and the Hultafors GK are great user/abuser knives. It is not a good starter knife since it lacks finger guard, but that is a training thing :)

I have one also and I have used it on my last camping trip. I beat it up pretty good on batoning season fire wood and gerneral camping chores. It past the test pretty good and it was still very sharp after all the wood carving and batoning.
Yes it's very ugly, but still very functional. Like everyone else already said. Why just get one for the heck of it.

Been using mine for several years and it has been used for everything that a knife in the bush or camp should be used for, up to and including lite bataning. It does it all well, holds a reasonably sharp edge and touches up easily. I do not hesitate using it as my go to blade for woods bumming, but usually have a small axe or larger knife with me in the vehicle.

Get yourself a good kydex sheath. You won't regret the purchase.
