Anyone wanna suggest a good fixed blade?

Lotta good suggestions here. I am partial to Chris Reeve's One Piece range and highly recommend them. Buck Intrepid is a good knife and Buck overall provides good value. I have a Nimravus in ATS-34 and like it as well as some of the other fine suggestions. Bottom line, Kallkniven A-1 is hard to beat. Most of the choices mentioned before me, however, are not bum steers.
