I'm glad you posted that photo, Joezilla... I can't believe I forgot about my pack basket!

I bought a traditional Adirondack pack basket when I was a teenager, to use for ice fishing on Lake George. It's getting a little ragged around the bottom, but I still have it and use it each winter.

They still see plenty of use in my neck of the woods, especially for ice fishing and trapping.

Where did you get this? Barthel is my last name and I know I have German heritage. Very interesting.

I got it in East Germany. I would not think Barthel is a rare name in Germany, but you never know... you could be related. :D
