• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

This was given to me by one of the guys at Church along with two other nice knives, more pics to come. I am trying to figure out what this is though.... I believe it to be a hen and rooster but beyond that im not sure..... Any help?

all three blades have the hen and rooster emblem with solingen on one side and gutmann germany on the other

Ok so based on the links given and what I can see, it is a 1945-1980 H&R Whittler pattern.

Anyone think different?

The only thing I can add - the H&R knives are now made and sold by Robert Klaas, Solingen. I think Bertram (H&R) stopped their production at some time ago. Nice knife, Sir! :)

KInd regards

Thanks I am quite pleased with it!

on a side note, can anyone tell me what the lack of shield means?
