Anyone with recent contact with Phillip Dobson?

Not sure if this is the correct sub-forum for this question. If not, sorry. Please move it if you must.

I'm trying to reach Phillip Dobson from http://www.phillipdobson.com/, but he hasn't responded to my email, and when I tried to call, the voice machine says his mailbox is full. So has anyone been able to get in contact with Phillip recently? Does anyone know if he is still selling his custom knife handles? I want to ask him to make me carbon fiber scales for a Kershaw Skyline (Damascus) that should be arriving in the next few days.
 
Heard anything back from him? I sent him a Benchmade 375 to put handles on LAST NOVEMBER... I waited a few months, emailed, tried calling (not easy or cheap either- I'm stationed in Japan), finally got him on the phone February 25th. He says "I forgot about your knife but I'll send it back to you at no charge for the work since it's taken so long". Well now it's June and I haven't seen anything. Does anyone have an updated email or number for him? Kinda pissed about this taking so long...

Yeah, he finally emailed me back after a long while. We did a little back and forth to gather information, and then... he stopped answering. So I gave up. I'm sure he is just very busy. I ended up going with someone else.
 
I understand him being a busy guy but 8 months for handle scales? I wish i could go with someone else but unfortunately he already has my knife. When i did get him on the phone he admitted it had been just sitting in his shop, finished up and waiting to be shipped, which he claimed would happen ASAP. Sounds more like irresponsibility than 'busy' to me. Is the contact info on his site still current? I've been trying to call and get the full inbox message but i can try email again and hopefully see what's going on. I'm kind of wondering after what amount of time do I consider myself ripped off?
