What do you think about this material? Are there any special considerations when working with it? Does it have to be stabilized?

Don't know if I have the skill to exploit this material to it's fullest at present but I might get some for later unless it is particularly hard to work with.

Any pictures of Warthog handles you have done would be much appreciated.

Here's one:

I really like wart hog ivory. I have not stabilized it and have had no problem. I cut it in half and use it on full tang knives. The problem is finding a tusk large enough. I like it's looks a lot better than elephant ivory. Some wart hog tusks really have a lot of character.
I can't post pictures, but if you will send me your e-mail, I will send you a couple of pictures.

It often has a lot more color than other ivory. Hard to find it big enough, but, can work for a curved handle. I like it.
