well like i like to say. you can always warm up by putting on more layers. i much prefer the cold to the heat. i hate really hot weather cold i dont mind and rather like.

Naw, I'm just jealous, that's all... I'm originally from Phoenix, used to sensible gun laws and good weather (except for the 120 degree summer stuff). Now in Illinois, I've just never adjusted to cold winters and really assinine gun laws. Why am I lumping them together? I don't know, just seems like a good idea right now. :grumpy:
 
LOL you are lumping them together because that cold weather is a PITA, when it comes to carrying. If it is super cold you can't have too many layers in the way of your weapon. I hate it too.
 
our high today was around 21, light breeze, heavy cloud cover, and the occasional flurry.
A buddy showed up with a 12 pack of 4 year old soda, so we got in some quality 1911 time making them safe for humanity...

Hmmm really... we got a dusting, more then we were expecting.. bitterly cold and bright outside today. Gonna try and do a quick hike up Fall Mtn this afternoon. -12 outside right now, be a good test of the winter gear :)

Thanks, by the way- we love it down here. It's pretty rare for us to get a good snow, so it's always a treat.
I think I have about 5" in my yard so far, but it's turned to sleet for the moment.
 
Lol. It was 2 this morning. Crisp smoking weather. 5 inches in raliegh? I can't imagine what a mess that is.

Enjoyed the flexible flyer with me munchkin for a bit. That's been my mode of transpo so far today :)
Glad I haven't been called in to work (yet). I'll be pulling all the morons out of ditches and such all day tomorrow. Always get to see some ridiculous stuff after snow and ice.
 
man we are supposed to be getting more rain here! i cant believe it when i heard that. i live in a desert for peat sake! :D
