Howdy folks, browsing the forum from Embassy Suites in Omaha NE. Heading to 3 interviews in a few minutes, then I'm out of this town.

Interviews suck, but two free nights in Embassy Suites and a few free meals (and beers) isn't too bad of a deal, I suppose.

Back in Lincoln. I got to Omaha on Wednesday night, so back already. I'm going to take a nice, long nap now.

The interviews went OK, but I have no concept myself of how good my interviews ever are. It's not in my hands now though, so I won't worry about it.

I went to a 5 hour workshop on Wednesday on interviewing skills, the main things they look for, I got out of it, is eye contact, show up 10 minutes early, look professional, shake hands and introduce yourself when you walk in, "walk tall, stand tall, and sit tall", When they ask you "behavioral" questions they're looking for 3 answers, "the situation, the action, and the results.", while your being interviewed and asked questions like "give me an example of a time you....", (those are behavioral questions) you want to do more talking than the interviewer. Also a week after the interview then you may want to call them to check and see how it went, if anything it will bring your name back up to the top. I know all this info is conjumbled but I'm in a rush to eat, and if I don't post this now I'll probably forget too :D, good luck and keep your head up :thumbup:
 
Well, I hope to have my izula in soon? I hust got the sheath hoopster made for it. I plan to order up the rc3-mil in about a week, so I'm def hooked. Does this sub-forum care if we make threads about non-esee knives as well? I'm having a custom blade made, and I wanted to share the details. Hoopster is also making a sheath for that too.

well this is the ESEE forum so is you could keep new threads about ESEE's or ESEE application that would probably be for the best, but in this thread anything goes! :D
and i agree that hoopster makes good sheaths, i like mine a lot :thumbup:

Good stuff, but a few hours too late. I think I did OK, we will see. There was quite a bit of competition.
