Very cool. I like seeing Spyders in the maritime professions. I always carried 2 or more as a lobsterman. I saw a few commercial fishermen using them but I am happy to say I have seen more on the river tugs in Illinois. Almost half of the folding knives i see (we are required to carry a folding locking knife up to 4 inches) are Byrd or Spyderco, including Cara Caras, Rescue SE, Atlantic Salt and Raven (mine), and Pacific Salt.

Union Ironworkers are required to carry a folding knife also! I'm currently carrying a 1st generation stainless-handled Endura. Carried a Military at one point also.
