Anything uncomfy about the small regular sebbi?

I have decided on the small regular, but have never had a knife with thumb grooves/serreations. Do they get uncomfy after hard use?

I was wondering the same thing myself as my Sebi is a classic model and my new one will be a small reg wood with a Damascus blade.
