I have decided on the small regular, but have never had a knife with thumb grooves/serreations. Do they get uncomfy after hard use?

Good choice. Mine hasn't given me any trouble, and it's in my hand alot. Hard to put this one down.

One of the amazing and delightful details that CRK takes care of: the thumb grooves are rounded, so they assist your grip from slipping, but they don't bite ...

I was wondering the same thing myself as my Sebi is a classic model and my new one will be a small reg wood with a Damascus blade.:)
