Is there anywhere I can find a custom knife maker? I want to see if he/she could make me a custom Star Wars knife. I also want to know the price of course.

A custom Star Wars themed knife? I don't recall seeing any knives in Star Wars so I'm assuming that you want something Star Wars themed. You may want to be careful with copyright infringements and all that. I doubt you'll catch heat for having a Star Wars themed knife created for you, but you never know.

Maybe if you give us more of an idea about what you mean, we would be more able to steer you in the right direction.

Being 13 years old, I doubt any custom maker is going to sell to you, or even take your order seriously. It may be better, as long as you have your parents consent, to have one of them make the inquires.

If you're going to try to get someone to build you a lightsaber, I'm afraid I have some bad news...

Alternatively, you could check the Dagobah system... :p

Knife with the handle like Luke's lightsaber, I like it. :D

Check some of the custom makers on here. Whatever it is you had in mind there is more than likely someone on hee who can make it.

That's because you aren't as big of a Star Wars freak as I am. I should know because I research these things. I found a whole bunch but I'll start off with a few simple ones. The knuckle plate vibro blade and Vibro Knife used by the Clone Commandos:

This can be made from a combat knife or somthing.

This one can be made by a simple push blade

Ohhh! The Clone Commando Vibro Knife!!! I forgot about that one.

A couple of guys make those. Let me pull together a list.

Forgive me, I figured that you meant the "real" Star Wars as in Episodes IV, V, and VI. You're looking for fantasty knives. Not many custom makers here are in the fantasy knife business, if any. Good luck in your search though. I would like to see what you end up with as I am a fan of the movies.

I must say that neither of the knives above appear they would be very useful for anything.

That's cool. I have a feeling that I'm going to have a lot of custom knives. I might even have some custom Power Ranger blades. I used to watch it every day when I was younger. And although these knives aren't useful I could still keep them as collectables. My friend Christian would love to see these.

Wolf Trait, you may want to check out the online store for Mastersmiths of New York. Mostly customs, and several futuristic fantasy/art knives. If you decide to go the fantasy/art route with your custom knife collecting, expect to be spending large amounts of cash. Those type of custom blades are never inexpensive. And if ya' get any crap on here because of what you like, take it with a grain of salt. A lot of people aren't going to realize your age and others just think they're cool being a-holes and ripping on people from behind a keyboard.

Wolf Trait, because you are a minor, you can't legally be held liable for any contract you enter into, so a knife-maker is going to get screwed if you walk on a custom order.

This is why I doubt that anyone will bother to talk to you.

You can try to have your dad or any other adult try to convince a custom blademaker to build one for you. But since this is such a custom order, be prepared to pay up front for the knife. I'm guessing you'll need to pay at least $1000 to get the layered details CNC'd onto a billet of steel before a knife can be built around it.

Wow. That's gonna take a while. And don't worry. My dad usually gets the knife for me. I just tell him what I wan't. I'm not saying he pays for them I do that and I don't even think he'll let me buy a knife for that much. Oh well. I'll still try.

Try as you might, it's still unlikely that this aspiration will ever come to fruition without having a hefty price tag. You'd be much better off spending that money (>$400 for sure) on something that is functional instead of a plaything.

Please, please do not ask a custom maker to do a Power Ranger knife, for the love of God. It will not end the way you desire.
