Apocalypse #4

Awesome! Makes me want to cannibalize someones lawn mower.. :D I imagine you could make a fortune off of these, if you marketed them right, and in today's climate, that wouldn't be hard at all.. If I wasn't out of work I probably would have PM'd you with an offer already ;) . Very talented, I'll be keeping my eyes out here from now on, thanks!

Nice forge work.
To be honest I've never been a fan of pre-aged stuff. Prefer tools that age in the field.

Thanks InquisitorLord, but I'm not much of a marketer, my hands stay too dirty and stained. Ya ever shook hands with a guy with yellow/black/calloused/walnut fingers?
Thank you Ravaillac, but there is not any pre-aging done. The iron is over 70 yrs. old, no aging, just forge scale and hammer marks. The leather is 30 yrs. old, no dye, just dirt, grease and shellac.. The hatchet handle has been in my barn for 15 yrs, torched and scrapped the same way as it's been done since medieval days. I also like tools that age in the field, but they are getting harder to find so we replicate them in the same materials and techniques of the past.... By the way, I like your country. Did a show there last year.....Randy
