Apocalypse knives!!!!!

My 'Go' Rig: Busse NMSFNO, SpecOps sheath with goodies in the pouch, including SAK folder. I had to leave the house in 60 seconds due to something bad happening, it would be with me.

Cold steel recon 1 with ultra lock
And this bowie i have that is made from a file was given to me so i dont know much about it but its a tank.
Ranged Ruger mini 14 tac

Leatherman wave, Spyderco schempp rock, and either my Remington 887 nitro mag or my m1 carbine.

Now, now, let's not be hasty here... thar be an apocalypse and then thar be an apocalypse! Ya need the right tools for the job!

A few examples:

Giant Insect Apocalypse: Leatherman Blast, glaive, and flame-thrower.

Hollow Chocolate Bunny Apocalypse: Victorinox Explorer (obviously), Shun Ken Onion Santoku, and a 12-gauge shotgun.

Alien Apocalypse: hydrospanner, lightsaber, and Han Solo's blaster.

Roller-Skating Devil-Woman Apocalypse: bird & trout folder with a brassiere hook, bullwhip or flail, and a super-soaker loaded with hot sauce.

I mean, what exactly are we dealing with here?

:p :D

large leatherman with a saw (and my Bradshaw custom if allowed)
18" Ontario machete
SBR ruger 10/22 with a folding stock, 25 rd mags and a supressor :)

Okay, I'll play:

Multitool: case peanut in mother of pearl
Knife: smatchet
Gun: some sort of elephant rifle

That should do

Folder tough one (because I don't know what kind of end of times it is).

Possibly my Leatherman wave, or other multi tool. Maybe my custom J. Oeser gunstock trapper
(if it is just a general need for cutting implement)

Fixed also tough. Possibly Busse KZII. It is a big chopper, but I have a nice thin ege at the base for detail work. It limbs and trims wood. But My B11 is lighter and easier to cart around (less than 1/2 the weight for nearly as long of a blade). (I have a bastard sword, battle axes, a pole axe with a nasty hammer poll depending on the brand of zombies...........).

Range weapon? AR15 if it is a real "zombie" or even civil unrest etc. My .22's allow me to carry way more ammo, but lack the distance and penetration as an all arounder. Honestly, with heavy .223 bullets, I can still take deer, and other larger game with good placement.

It also works in a "no law and order" or "invasion" fantasies. It allows high volume, for low weight on ammo, with enough punch.

And, just so the thread is not worthless............. Zombies..........

Well, that depends... Do I get to be the hero, or can I act sensible? If I'm being sensible, I'll stay in home where I have access to all of my knives. :p

Folder: Vic SAK Swiss Champ (own it)
Fixed: KaBar USMC (own it)
Range: Springfield SOCOM 16 (someday!)

Ok. If the apocalypse happens, I am just SOL!! I can walk with a walker, but it ain't fast and both hands have to be on the walker. Wheelchair as well as it's fairly level, or my truck as long as the gas holds out (I started driving this past Wednesday, after a little over a year). But hey.....I'm up and plan on getting me at least a few of the undead before I join them, or before I blow my own brains out.:eek: If it happened tomorrow I would have the following;

FOLDER: ZT0600
FIXED: Browning Barker/Crowell Competition cutter that would work well on zombie heads!
GUN: Sig Sauer P232

Hmm..
Folder- Cold steel XL espada
Bigger- Battle ready katana (Cold steel or otherwise), or ka-bar Kukri machete
Ranged- .22- plentiful ammo, bullet ricoches in skull doing as muh as a .45, you can carry more ammo then a larger caliber, etc.
