Apogee (D. Ralph design) by Outdoor Edge

Wow, how much would an Apogee in Talonite run?

I like my women like I like my knives: strong, sharp, well-formed and pattern-welded!

Jeez, Darrel, why don't you make a few extras of the custom knife you are making for me?

It is a knife similar in design and size to the Apogee, but with a slightly wider blade without recurve. Frame lock, and anodized Ti scales. Talonite (r) blade.

The best of everything, including designer and craftsman. Things just don't get better than this. Walt

Thanks for the kind words Walt. Did the blade got to grind it .. The talonite machined slow thats for sure. I love that carbide cutter sound that says YOUR HURTING ME hahahhahaha
The cutter lasted just long enough to finish one blade . The Edges were gone ..

Take a look!!!

I vote for Carbon fibre, satin finish, any non-neon color for the scales; Damasteel, with any CPM a close second; and Darrel's lock. Build it and I will come!
Thanks for taking the time to ask our opinions David.
Very Sincerely, Chris

David B Man I cannot wait to see your Impulse or Magna in a store.

About the Apogee- FrameLock, satin blade finish, bead blasted titanium, very nice.

About the handle, instead of worrying about colors, maybe you could go with surface texturing and sculpting, maybe some file work to make this a performance pro?

Then you could make it slippery anodized and it would still perform, but I have never held an anodized knife that was not slippery.

I wrote a review of the Kasper AFCK variant, an interview of Bob Kasper, and some thoughts and brainstorms of the AFCK in general. It can be found in the Reviews Section. Check it out and tell me what you think.
