Apogee Illusion

Does anybody out there have any experience with the Illusion D/A? I currently have a small manual Apogee but am interested in the Large Apogee Illusion.

You will love it. The Illusion is the perfect size for an all-around folder. The Illusion release is brilliant. It is the ultimate daily carry folder in my opinion.

Do not know how I got along without mine.
I love the knife. The auto mechanism is cool and the knife shines in DA mode. Very smooth.

I've got a medium Apogee Illusion that has been my constant carry knife since taking delivery of it in June. Sexy styling, great looks, and performance to match as well. Lots of folks who have seen it have been impressed with the anodizing. Bottom line, Darrel builds a great knife and backs up every knife that he makes; he isn't happy until the customer is. He is definitely "good people". Recently I've had the opportunity to spend several days with Darrel in his shop and got to witness the construction of an Illusion from the inside out, no detail is too minor when it comes to building and tweaking one of his DA's. IMHO one of the best DA custom folders your moeny can buy.
