Apogee Maker?

Outdoor Edge is pleased to announce a production version of D.Ralph's Apogee design in a titanuium frame lock. Release date is late Spring-Summer of 2000. The target MSRP has not yet been determined.

Have you given thought of an auto version?
It would sell like crazy!
Of course much of the work would have to be done in the US but it would still be in a good price range.

To Mike T:

I have no idea what are the legalities of manufacturing and distributing automatic knives. I know they are illegal to carry in most states. I therfore have never really been interested in producing a knife that could cause legal problems for Outdoor Edge as well as our customers.

I'm sure you can fill me in on the subject and agree an auto Apogee, Impulse or Magna would be very cool items indeed. As a switchblade collector I know I would want one.
