All threads and posts in the shop talk forum are supposed to be somewhat knife or shop work related. So in keeping with the rules (read between the lines), I would like to advise:

I like to use 1095 to make kitchen knives with............
(The best place to post non-knife comments and such is in Around the Grinder)
It is not too bad to HT............
(Don't beat yourself up over this, it happens fairly often)
I sand to 400 ,then..................
(In the future ,you can just ask the Moderators to move the thread to the
appropriate forum)

Mark - Perhaps we should lock this thread, and let it go.
