I don't have much to add, except that I've definitely been guilty of typing while upset. All that did was make ME look like a jerk. I'm old enough to know better, but we all make mistakes. Especially online, it's real easy to mouth off, and/or be misunderstood.
We all have a lot in common, more than our differences. Passion can lead to arguments, but that shouldn't make us lose our cool. Sometimes we just need to "agree to disagree."
There's been way too much vitriol around here lately; maybe we're all just stressed by the economy, cabin fever, or whatever. Kevin and Roger, I don't know you guys, but thanks for setting a better example for us. I've made some apologies recently too, and I feel better for it.
EDIT: I'd like to add, recently a fellow forumite took a smart-alec comment I said, the wrong way. Rather than jump down my throat "in public", he sent me a pm asking if I was really trying to be a dick or if he just misunderstood me. Long-story-short, we cleared up the matter within minutes, and I now consider him a friend. He set another good example for all of us
