I wanted to make a forged knife that fits my hunting and fishing, buscraft style. I was looking to make something that I could forge consistently every time. This is the knife that I came up with.
It is forged from 80CRV2. Blade is 3 7/8". Handle is 4" with Stabilized Maple that has been dyed, held on with G-flex, 2 brass pins and a brass tube. There is a crack in the handle that appared while I was finishing it. Heat treated in digitally controlled equipment to a RC of 60. Flat ground with convex edge. Hand sanded to 400 grit then rubbed with Scotch-Brite for a satin finish. It is very comfortable. Comes with leather sheath pictured.

I usually sell these for $225 but because of the crack I am selling it for $200
Paypal preferred but other methods accepted. Paypal/Email address is michaelpresnellknives@gmail.com
