I'm thinking about getting a stockman in appaloosa bone. What do ya'll think?:thumbup: :thumbdn:
 
I have the trapper model. I have mixed feelings. The steel seems softer than case cv. Just won't take the same edge. The clip blade hits the bottom of the backspring and leaves a dent in the edge and the grind was fairly thick.

Yet somehow I LOVE it anyway. Not sure why. If you get the stockman please review becasue I was thinking about getting one as well.
 
Just your findings about the knife in general. What you think about the quality of the steel and the grind angles? I am especially intersted to see if your blades rub since stockman's have crinked blades? Fit and finish and if your clip hits the bottom of the backspring when snapped shut. My trapper does not stay there. It only bounces and resturn to a normal postion.
