I am moving out my old Powerbook G4 - I got this around 2 years ago and it has been reliable for me. The reason I am selling is because I scored a cheap deal on a newer laptop. (My computer upgrades depends on two things - if I get a cheap deal, or if my Dad gets pissed off using/borrowing my old computer for his work when he visits and offers to help me buy me a new one - my desktop is from 2001 YIKES)
That being said, all that speech is trying to say is that the Powerbook G4 I am selling is good to go. It's not the newest and greatest, but if you're like me you'll be happy it will surf wirelessly, watch movies and do anything you want, and is a great machine if you just want a reliable, easy to use system and don't need to have the latest.
There is that issue with the corner lifting up but it has caused no problems for me. (see pics).
The machine will be wiped clean and Mac OS reinstalled.
Specs in a nutshell:
Powerbook G4 15"
1.67 GHZ processor
2 Gigs ram (upgrade)
Machine Model: PowerBook5,8
DVD burner
80 Gig HD
Bought new January 2006, includes original box.
Here are some nuances about the machine you might find important:
-Comes with a mint extra battery (still has plastic) I only charged it and decharged it two cycles to break in the battery.
-Seems to only want to burn DVD +R (I dunno if it's me or something I did not set up)
-Please check out the pic that shows the corner lifting. (This is how it is now as is.. because of this the trackpad button clicks, I learned to ignore it since it was a good deal - sadly it was not covered by apple warranty)
...if it does not sell, then I'll just put it in my garage with my antique technology museum or maybe just make it live in my living room to play videos.
$400.00 + shipping ...sold pending funds
will consider trades (with cash flow either way to even the pot) towards:

Glock 17

Spyderco Lava
Benchmade Stryker 910 (Black Blade, plain edge, non auto)
