Applegate-Fairbairn folders made by Gerber?

Best of the lot would be the mid-sized Covert.
Managable size, locks great, looks exactly like what it says it is...
Combat Folder is pretty much a handful.
Exceptionally LARGE.
Not too much complaints.
Works better in a less than friendly enviroment... hence COMBAT?
MINI??? In fine print it read Taiwan.
Gave it a miss altogather.

If you found on in ATS-34, it's an older "model". They have been 154CM for years (the mid-sized Covert, that is). I had one and sold it. Good quality. Lock for the liner lock. Good SD knife. However, not practical for every day chores. Depends on what you want it for.

I bought a used Covert from the knife case at AG Russell's old store. Great price, awesome features, looked a little awkward with the single edge blade. Loved it. Deployed with it.

It and the LST are the only Gerbers I own now, and a good tribute to what used to be a great and favorite company. Thanks, Pete and all.

Chelsea, the double bevel first runs are hard to find - and you will probably have to do all the looking at experienced collectors gun show tables, ebay, or forum sales areas. They know what they have.
