On that thread I got some good advice from a few blokes basically telling me not to mod something I plan to sell, let the buyer do it if they wish. Solid advice and I listened regarding the handle but I had already stripped the blade coating.
No big deal though? It's just a stripper, everyone wants a TGLB, especially a wicked PROTO version with a recurve and pointed pommel? Wrong, lol. I was inundated with low balls all the way to offensive messages that the knife could be fake because I didn't etch the logo. Whatever, I decided to withdraw the knife and appreciate it for myself. I didn't make it a super shiny stripper nor did I aim to make it look like an LE. I wanted it to look rough and tough and that's what I got.
Now I know that if I mod a blade, it's for keeps
I just gave the knife a belting and it was awesome. Without further ranting, here are some pics!
On a side note, these "Green and Black" G10 handles are more like Grey and Black. They go Green when wet though, which is pretty cool but unusual in my experience with G10.
Cheers!
