Appreciating my first stripper / small rant

I think it looks badass. I didnt see your posting in the exchange but regardless of the price I never understood why some people feel the need to put their two cents in on what they think someone's posted item is "worth". If the price that they consider worth it is less than what it would take for you to part with it they should move on and look for another one at a price they like.

She came out great!!
I like the fact the TGLB looks rough and ready.

I finally stripped a couple blades recently, and I'm hand sanding them to a Comp or rougher finish too.

I LOL at your listing, but if someone is willing to pay it, good on ya. I don't think there is a reason to get upset. You tested the market and got feedback. You are in a great position- you either keep a nice piece of infi or you get a price you think is fair. You win either way. Good luck on next sale and enjoy your knife.

Now it just has character and a story. the steel is the steel all is missing a little coating. I think it looks fine. For a knife that I use often and hang onto, I prefer the stripped version personally. The coating just gets beat up anyway.

Definitely has character now :)

Looks great. I didn't remember one coming with a bit of recurve. So are you going to go ahead with the handle mod now that you plan on keeping it?

This one has a recurve and the pointed pommel, apparently it's a hair thicker than the standard TGLB's too but I don't have calipers. Not sure if I will sand the handle now, I like with the extra traction. I was going to hand sand the handle as a bit of a fun project and to tidy it up before sale.

Hey brother--keep it and use it and love every second of it! That one looks absolutely awesome... you can't go wrong having it in your collection!

Cheers man, will do!

Thanks man I think it looks tough too
Low balls are one thing but what ticked me off is the people telling me it was fake because I didn't etch the logo. Funnily enough, none of them post in this forum, they were both "lurkers"

Regarding the price, TGLB's have been selling for stupid prices lately so why not do the same? I also lowed it significantly (to $650). I'm not bothered it didn't sell, what bothered me is that people were telling me it was fake LOL
I'll be holding onto this one  Cheers!

That's a fine blade ExtraBacon!

Good job stripping it too; I saw your listing as well and figured it would be snatched up super quick; now you get to hold onto an awesome blade though. I didn't know until this thread that it was a prototype--which makes it special and unique =)

I say hold onto it and enjoy it!
