This is Travis's 2nd knife.
MOP is eye popping.
A2 hollow ground blade.
A2 guard and tip.
Front and back of the knife are symmetrical.
IT WAS A LOT OF WORK!!!! Approximately 72 man hours.

Travis Designed and made this knife himself. The only work I did because of safety reasons was to buff the finished knife.
I did do One on One coaching from start to finish.
Travis is 17 years old and is an EXCEPTIONAL Student.
 
Beautiful, graceful and dangerous. I am going to make my second knife anyway, but it will pale in comparison. Congratulations!:thumbup:
 
I wish I could draw you a picture on how the Dagger went together.
The Blade is stick tang.
The drilled and hand filed guard slides over the stick .
The side steel pieces are hidden pinned and spot brazed to the stick for a platform for the pearl.
The butt bolster is pinned to the stick.
A Lot of work!!!
 
Dave--please send Travis over to my shop so I can teach him several bad habits so the rest of us can continue to lie ourselves that WE make knives too. He is doing a heck of a job and so are you.
